...when he said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
So I was hoping to make it to tonight's blog party at Pure Wine-- had crowed about the personal appearance yesterday, in fact-- when a work meeting that I had planned to end at 4:30 ended instead at 5:30. D'oh! Then, my wife called, she has whatever touch o'flu or other illness my son has, and can I cover the NCAA night at Long Reach HS tonight from 7-8. Double D'oh! But, I figured I could go to the blog party on the early side.
Triple dadgum dog D'oh! Traffic on 95 sucked on the way home. I didn't even hit the MD100 exit until about 6:15, which would've made driving to Main St. and then hitting Long Reach HS by 7, in the words of the immortal Ralph Wiggum, un-possible. Damn.
I promise I'll be at my own blog party (co-hosted of course with computerblues) on January 20th. This I swear!
Meanwhile, I would like to announce another MM personal appearance...and I'll be at this one! I'll be running/walking in the Jingle Bell Run to benefit the Arthritis Foundation this coming Saturday, December 4, at 9:30am. It's at Centennial Park, so come on out and support a great cause!
And for anyone who wanted to meet the Marshmallow Man tonight...my apologies! I'm sure you had a good time, regardless.
