Oral surgery death

A very somber post today.  Being the parent of one (and in two months, two) teenagers, I can only vaguely wave at the pain this poor family feels.

Here is an article about a local teenager who died as a complication from oral surgery two weeks ago.  Truly the sort of thing that one never thinks about as a threat to one's life.

At this time of year when high school students are thinking about their prom, where they're going to college or what they're going to do over the summer, it is unthinkable that families also have pain like this to deal with.  My heart goes out to this family.
