Oh, that's right, we're not a city, we're a county whose major population center is governed by a homeowners' association. Well, "Summer in the County Whose Major Population Center is Governed by a Homewoners Association" would not have made a good song title. Going to go with this classic song by The Lovin' Spoonful to set the tone for today's zesty topicality.
Courtesy of The Weather Channel, here is the 5-day forecast for ZIP code 21045. Damn.
I'm not sure this is the hottest summer ever, but this seems to be the earliest I can recall summer getting this hot. Making matters far worse, the fact that there remain people without power from last Friday's derecho. For those folks, life has gone from inconvenient to annoying to becoming pretty damn unconfortable.
On another front, obviously the fireworks went on as scheduled last night. I'm sure it was fun; I decided to sit it out this year. Going to be spending enough time out in the heat over the next few days and I really didn't need to spend any more.
Anyone here still not believe in climate change?

The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can‘t have them.
