That's certainly the headline I've been itching to write for some time, although, not the case about which I've been hoping to post or comment about.
A Howard County Circuit Court Judge chucked out Allen's silly, silly lawsuit against four Board of Education members, claiming that the HCPSS Superintendent interviews were held in violation of the Maryland Open Meetings Act. More about that stuff here.
OK, so, I manage people. I hire. I fire. I interview. When, exactly, do I or would I ever have to make a job interview in my organization an open process? Open for all to see? When does any organization, public or private sector, ever have to do this?
I really have no idea, none whatsoever, why this lawsuit ever occurred. But glad that it's done. And since the decision has been rendered, time to move on.
