Two big happenings at tonight's Marshmallow Man personal appearance! First off, Marshmallow Man signed an autograph! This in itself is tremendous, a moment which will last for the rest of mine and little Jamie's lives.
Second, it bacame known knoweedge to me that the Administrative Law Office has ruled against Allen Dyer. It has found that Dyer committed multiple misdeeds which would indeed serve as grounds for his removal for office.
OK, so, Allen Dyer has already been removed from office. So that can't literally happen. Like, a week ago, it could have. Not now.
So yes, I don't like that and have long been on the record as believing thus. However, the ruling does set a precedent that states that no current or future BOE member (ahem... ADL.... ahem) had better engage in the same or similar shenanigans, or else they're going to get kicked to the curb. And deservedly so!
I have to say that I am extremely happy for the members of the so-called "Gang of Four" on the board-- BOE members Aquino, French, Giles, and Siddiqui. This ruling serves as complete and total vindication of the way they have conducted business on the board, and again, serves notice to anyone who wants to whine and complain about board practices, to shut their pie hole and behave.
So, I stand an unhappy camper about the State's pace on this-- that still does to me seem suspect-- but I am quite satisfied with the outcome. Too bad we can't use Doc Brown's Time Machine and throw the bum out!

This is perhaps the most significant comment ever posted to this blog.

I should certainly think so.
