Hi everyone! Some things going on around and about today.
Of course, to start with, it's all about me. I have decided upon my next running adventure, the Cherry Blossom 10-miler in Washington on April 7. It's a huge race and entry is by lottery, so I signed up for the lottery.
Finished the holiday shopping yesterday, which is always a good feeling! Now I can sit back for the next two weeks and watch everyone who hasn't finished their preparations deal with it. Bwahahahahaha!!!!
This much belated, but congratulations to the River Hill High School football team on their recent state championship! There's an article about it here. I coached against some of the players and know two of the players, Anthony Corrao and Ryan Doyle. I am sure they, their familes, and their entire community are very proud. And rightfully so!
I have yet to weigh in on the CA legislation in much detail. And certainly not on the Alliance for a Better Columbia counter-proposal. All I do know is that change is needed. Still listening to more on the matter. Of course, everyone is curious what I think. Soon, young Jedi, soon....
Last-- Friday's post is going to be uber-special. In fact, it's going to be huge. A great step forward in the life of this blog. How so, you might ask. Here's an answer, and a hint: you'll see!
Hap-hap-happy Hump Day!
