Today I complete my endorsements in the contested Columbia Council/CA Board elections. Yesterday I endorsed on the east side; today it's the west's turn! Now for this blog's endorsements in River Hill and Wilde Lake!
In River Hill, the incumbent CA Board member, Michael Cornell, deserves re-election to the board. Michael has served admirably on the board for several years and is an intellectual leader on the board. He possesses a keen internal gyroscope that, if his public statements are a fair indicator, makes him well-suited for membership and leadership on the CA Board. He needs to be returned to the board to continue his excellent work.
Another board member who needs to be returned to the board to continue their excellent work is Regina Clay from Wilde Lake. She possesses a strong moral compass and a deep commitment to service; two qualities that can not exist in great enough quality on the CA Board. She has a terrific background in public policy and administration, ad connections to local government which also serve as great assets to the board. Wilde Lake and Columbia will be best served by her continued presence on the board.
