OK, so you know about Clarence Lam, MD, Who has officially announced his candidacy for Delegate in District 12. There is also Janet Siddiqui, MD, who is exploring running for something (she says Senate, I say it should be Delegate) in District 13.
Now, there is Terri Hill, MD, who has also announced her candidacy for Delegate in District 12. Her campaign kicked off on Monday. I couldn't attend, but I will provide a pleasant link to her website.
I think it's amazing that these three physicians are all running for state legislature in Howard County. There's only one physician in the General Assembly-- Delegate Dan Morhaim of Baltimore County-- so having the potential for three from Howard County to be elected all next year is pretty awesome!
Who will I support? I'm most familiar with Clarence Lam's candidacy, and I appreciate his seriousness towards running and his chutzpah. But who will really blow me away, will the the candidate who uses this song, the theme from "Quincy, ME", as their campaign tune! Come on, who's going there??? There was a doctor who served the people, who the bad guys could respect!
And with all these doctors seeking office, who said Howard wasn't healthy? Maybe between the three of them they could get Warren Miller on a treadmill.
