As to Dallas Dance, he really had nothing to do with the A/C issue in the schools....that was more of a County Executive issue and KK was not willing to supply the funds to make that happen. Many of the BCo schools are in horrible shape as they were built in the 1950's-1960's and have had little repair over the years and really need to be rebuilt. DD will likely go to work for an edu tech company (Discovery Education perhaps?). He started the STAT program and Lighthouse schools costing the school system over $370 million dollars.... but the kids all have tablets/laptops and Mario Kart Wiii!!! themselves an education. He was collecting a secret paycheck from consulting with an edu tech company while he was Superintendent....and that ed tech company was contracting with BCPS for implementing the STAT program. Good riddance to DD and I hope that Foose follows his lead.

"Brendan and Alana in their $800,000 McMansions would be having conniption fits, lest little Logan and Brindle suffer the indignity of a bead of sweat from their brows."

That is very funny, but also some hostile aggression being let out there too. Brendan and Alana pay a lot of money into the county tax base, so maybe they should be a little nitpicky on how they benefit from the insanely high taxes they pay.

Why should we support a public finance system for elections? I'd be curious to hear the reasoning, because it's a non-starter for most people to hear that their hard earned tax dollars are being used to pay for political campaigns.
