Office on Human Affairs????? Never heard of it.

I think Kittleman has done an amazing job so far. On a personal note, I've seen him twice in the western end of the county in his first year, I never saw Ken Ulman out west a single time in 8 years.

Regarding the legislation banning guns from county buildings, that is literally the dumbest legislation I have ever heard of and reflects very poorly on the intellect of Jon Weinstein who sponsored it (he's apparently not aware that virtually no one can legally carry a gun in Maryland regardless of this ignorant bill). Regardless, if Kittleman did veto it, it would have been overridden anyway and next election the narrative from fear mongering liberals would be "Kittleman wants babies to be killed with guns in County buildings". Kittleman played smart politics with this one.

Keep up the great work, Allan!

Jon Weinstein

Ken, thank you for the constructive comment on my intellect. I'm always disappointed when someone chooses to use a personal attack to try to make a point. Also, I appreciate that you singled me out among my colleagues who co-sponsored the bill.

On the matter or the bill, I'll refer to Executive Kittleman who said when he signed the bill, that it improves the safety of the public and county staff. The bill aligns with state law and the laws in other jurisdictions that prohibit firearms in public buildings, plain and simple.

Have a great holiday season and please remain engaged in public discourse; perhaps without the personal slurs.

Thank you Jon for participating in this lively discourse! Thank you Duane for catching my typo. Thank you Ken for just being you!

Jon, your intellect is poor if you think this bill does anything. If that hurts your delicate feelings, I don't care.

Grow up and act like a man.
